Moon Set
For the love of Paper
This is my newest torn paper collage called …….. for the love of paper. I need to photograph this again. I find this picture just does not do it justice and I plan on entering this for a juried show so nee a better photo.
Muskoka Moon
This is the Piece chosen for the Juried Show now on at The Art Space, the new Gallery here in Huntsville.
Muskoka Moon is Japanese paper on canvas. I am calling this art form Painting with Paper.
At the Art Space Poster
I have not posted in a long time, summer has been busy, which I suppose is a good thing.
Here is the poster for the Art Space, we are celebrating the opening and I am celebrating being a part of this show.
I have never been in a Juried Show, and so I am feeling recognized, as an artist.

This is in the process of being named ………….. dragonflies apparently have a symbolic meaning ( or two ) one being change and one beign surfacing ………

Into the Mystic
It was silly of me not to take a picture of this piece after it had been framed.
It sold last week at the Finds Art Show and so now I will never have a picture, other than this one.
Now I need to do a themed piece for the Show in August called Art and Lyrics ………. so do I pick a song first and work from there or do I just do the Art then name it.
I suppose if that’s the biggest decision I have to make today I am doing good.
Not doing much writing ……… lots of reflection though.
Poppy Paper Collage
Other than the finishing coat on this collage I think it’s done!!Finding my way with paper collage is definably a process. Without a teacher, who has done this sort of work before it’s an expensive “find my way around” process. I started thinking I could do this with just torn paper however it has morphed into cutting and creating as I go. Which I suppose is what Art is.
